Happy Tuesday my friends. I had another lovely weekend camping. And I made a visit to the magical purple field again. This time the light was better, and it was just as pretty as I remembered.
Although, I only had time to take a few quick shots, as it was being mowed, literally as I was shooting away. Now all the beautiful purple flowers are gone. I'm so glad I had a chance to see it before that happened.

Maureen, beautiful captures!!! This certainly proves the point - shoot when you have the chance. I remind myself of that more and more these days, as I've often been disappointed coming back to photograph something that looked like good material, only to find..... Well, nothing stays the same, does it?

i need to get me a cute little vintage camera at some point. i can't believe all those beautiful flowers got mowed down! good thing you captured them first.
I do love that camera, would love to get one like that did you buy it on ebay? do you use it or is it for decoration? love your field of purple too.
