{This photo really has nothing to do with this post. I just like it. And it is the month of love.}

Is it really February 9th already? Really? Where did January go? And do I just keep saying that?  Annoying, I know.

This year I planned to take time around the first of each month to reflect on my OLW Courage, and the impact it’s had on my life so far. I’ve also been collecting quotes and little reminders of my word on my Pinterest Courage board.

This is one of my favorites.

I also have a Pinterest board full of random quotes. I am a collector of quotes; I like them much better than poetry. I never get poetry, and it frustrates me. Quotes are usually short and to the point, simple. That's why I love them.

Most of the quotes on that board are inspirational, some make me smile, or laugh out loud, and one or two are just random.

And because it is the month of love, I thought I'd share this quote.

Original source for the above image can be found here.

Good advice, don't you think?

I am in love with quotes too and have been collecting them for several years. I would jot them down on scraps of paper years ago during my working days. One day I started putting them in a file/folder, kept adding as people would email or I would see on the web here and there.

Last May when I began Irish Garden House, a new window of quote heaven opened. Plus, with the ease of using my iPad to save images and to copy swiftly into my notes, I have accumulated many "word treasures."

And today, I added your board of random quotes, thanks to you!

Thank you . . . Love the LOVE the quote you chose today . . .

I really enjoy collecting quotes as well. For some reason poetry has never pulled me in. Sometimes I think I just haven't heard the right poet and if I did it would make all the difference. Who knows.

January definitely flew by and now February is almost half over! If only time would slow down once Spring arrives. Wishing you a sweet Valentines Day, Maureen : )
