Gratitude . . .

“Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity...it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”~ Melody Beattie

That has been a favorite quote of mine for a long time. It hangs on my bulletin board above my computer as a daily reminder.  It's so simple. If you can change the way you think, your perspective, the way you view life's events, you can transform your life. Happiness is yours for the taking. It really is that simple.

I am thankful for what everyone else is, family, friends, good health, a job, a warm home, plenty of food on the table. I'm also thankful for all of you who take time to stop by when you can, leave me notes of friendship and support and encouragement. My life is much richer for the friendships I've made through the wonder of the internet.

And of course, this year we have a little bundle of joy to be extra thankful for. I haven't shared any photos in a bit, and she is growing and changing so quickly. Here are a few of my favorites from this fall.

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who are celebrating today. I hope that you enjoy a lovely time with loved ones, eat just a little too much, and find time to put your feet up and simply enjoy the day.

Hi Maureen,

I came over from Gail's blog to check out your etsy charms, esp the photographer's definition & I tried entering my credit card info 4 times & 2 different cards, but it isn't accepting either one. I really love that particular charm, maybe I'll come back later & try again... so sorry.

Ok, I went back to try it one last time & it went thru... it was having a problem w/ the shipping & billing addresses, so I just entered the same for both instead of separating them & it was satisfied w/ that.

Thanks & can't wait to receive it in the mail! =)
