Summer certainly is a busy time isn't it?
I've been crazy busy this summer with selling at flea markets, and getting ready to sell at flea markets. I just don't seem to find the time to sit at the computer much right now. But I did want to share this little make-over project I finished recently.
The above chair started out looking like this:
A cute little chair, but I felt it certainly had more potential.
I took the seat off and cleaned up the chair. Then I gave it one coat with some inexpensive no-name interior flat latex white paint.
After that, I used gray sample paint I have to give a light coat on the chair back and arms.
Over that I painted two light coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint over the whole chair.
Once that was nice and dry, I sanded the chair revealing the gray underneath the ASCP and to give it a look of wear in certain places.

To finish it off, I waxed it with clear Annie Sloan wax. I love her wax, it's so easy to use.
Next I worked on recovering the seat cushion.
I had some left-over canvas drop cloth from a previous project that was just enough to cover the seat.
I went to the Graphics Fairy site { L.O.V.E. her site! }and found a French label graphic to use for the seat. I resized it and printed it on an ink jet iron-on transfer sheet, then ironed it on the canvas.

I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out.
